Blessings in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ
Just wanted to share a quick story that happened earlier this week with my youngest son Benjamin.
The other day when I got home from work my son was so excited to see me and wanted to play hide and seek with me.
Benjamin them went and hid and kept yelling Daddy come found me. At first, I wanted to correct him and let him know the difference between the past tense and the present tense of the word "find" Then it just hit me about how Jesus embraced the little children and said, "how blessed it is to approach Him with childlike faith".
In Genesis, once Adam and Eve ate of the fruit from the wrong tree, God calls out to Adam and says, "where are you?" This was not because Adam and Eve are the greatest hiders ever, but rather a rhetorical question to pinpoint where Adam and eve where in their relationship with the Father
What if we, like Benjamin, proactively call out to our Father and say "Here I am come found me" with such an openness and transparency. Not hiding or acting religious but honesty calling out to God in Hunger and Desperation and watch God move
Get ready, God is moving!!
Blessing!!
